The upcoming tournament seems to have been rescheduled because Bangladesh general elections are taking around the same time.

Earlier, the tournament was planned to take place from 1st October 2018 to 16th November 2018. In July 2018, it was confirmed that it has been postponed to January 2019 window due to security reasons. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organizes the series every year. It features seven different teams from seven different cities with up to four overseas players each side.
