Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 8th Day Collection 8 Days PRDP 2nd Thursday Box Office Report: Salman Khan’s recently released movie is on a collections and record-breaking spree as it has already beat many of them including the blockbuster movies of last year like Kick, Chennai Express and just seven days of its release. Shah Rukh Khan starrer CE and Kick starring Sallu Mia collected about Rs. 156.7 crore and Rs. 164.09 crores respectively as the first-week collection.
However, PRDP didn’t manage to break the 1st-week record of Salman’s starrer Bajrangi Bhaijaan which released earlier this year and earned Rs. 184.62 crores which Kick did the business of Rs. 164.09 in the same amount of time.
As of now, it has surpassed the lifetime collections of Kangana Ranaut’s Tanu Weds Manu Returns and bagged the tag of second highest grosser of 2015. Taran Adarsh confirmed it by posting a tweet on his official handle. He also mentioned that PRDP first week collections as Rs. 165.45 crores (domestic) with Wednesday business as 10.02 cr.
Talking about the worldwide collection of PRDP, then it has crossed the milestone of Rs. 200 cr. The film stars Salman, Sonam, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Anupam in important roles. Directed by Sooraj Bajratya, Rajshri Productions has produced it while the distribution responsibility is of Fox Star Studios.

After collecting a good amount of money, now, the film is showing drop in its collections since its release day. Yesterday, it collected only a mere amount of about 10.02 crore which is very less considering it’s a Salman Khan movie.
Expectations were very high. Seeing the trend, the drop is futher expected today as new movies will release in Bollywood, Tollywood, Kollywood and others. Meanwhile, the lead actors and makers are happy with the film’s performance.
