Nenu Local Movie Review: Actor Nani seems to be going through his best phase of career. He is delivering hits one after another. This time, he has come up to the silver screen with his young entertainer titled as Nenu Local. The film releases around the world today, February 3, 2017. Let’s see if it becomes another hit or not.
Story:
The story revolves around its lead stars Babu (Nani) and Keerthi (Keerthi Suresh). Babu falls for Keerthi’s love and starts pleasing her. After a long time trying to woo her, he finally succeeds and impresses her. When it appeared that everything was going well, a huge feud comes into action between Keerthi’s father (Sachin Khadekar) and Inspector Siddharth Varma (Naveen Chandra). The questions like who is this cop? What does he want with her dad? How does Babu solve his problems and if he marries Keerthi in the end or not? Forms the crux of the story.

Plus Points:
Director Trinadh Rao has employed possibly the best entertaining narration which happens to be the biggest positive point for the film. Though the story is old and average, the direction work is superb. The movie is filled with first class comedy and romantic sequences.
Nani shows his star power and takes it to the whole new level with his latest venture NenuLocal. In this flick, Nani shows his mass avatar. Other plus points for the film from his side are his dialogue delivery, acting, and mass avatar. The talkie highlights all in a fresh style. With it, Nani has shown that he is picking the right films to make his career big in the Tollywood industry.

Not only, Nani, but Keerthi Suresh has also done justice to her character. The chemistry between Nani and Keerthi are worth watching. Thus, the first half is a fun packed with romantic scenes and love tracks which are executed well. The comedy is filled with sequences like in the police station and pre-wedding drama. Naveen Chandra also played his role with responsibility. Sachin Khedekar impressed too.
Minus Points:
There was nothing new in this flick. We have already seen such type of stories many times before. The film includes some scenes which were stretched too long which resulted in increasing the running time. The climax of the movie could have been portrayed in a better way. The majority of the audience will feel the same. The last 15 minutes were slow and predictable.
Nenu Local Movie Technical Aspects
The music given by Devi Sri Prasad proved to be a big asset for the film. All the songs are good, and their placement is also very good. Dil Raju hasn’t compromised with the production films. Dialogues seem to be tailor-made for Nani which are massy. Editing appears to be just fine. Some scenes could have been edited to shorten the run time.
Director Trinadh Rao has just a fantastic job keeping up the film. The central theme in his earlier film and this one was the father-in-law. He has repeated the same one more time. But, in the movie, there is more fun. The director has used the star power of Nani to increase the quality of other elements. Trinadh has displayed Nani as a star hero, and this project will take his career to heights.
Nenu Local Movie Review and Rating – Verdict:
Overall, it is a good film which everyone can enjoy. It seems to be youth and mass oriented movie. The youth generation of today will surely find it easy to get connected. The star performances are the highlight of the film. Ignoring the average and predictable story, there is fun, good songs, and light entertainment which makes the movie a good time pass for this weekend.
