K&S released on around 1500 screens throughout the country which is 600 less than of Neerja, which released on 2100 screens. During the initial week, there was no response from the overseas market, with the time lapse the screen count on the international market grows up to 500 screens.
Hit song and cast helped the movie to become very well in the market. The initial reviews helped the film to sustain during the first week; the following week automatically balanced with India’s matches with the world.

During the second week, the movie sustained a bit impressive. Because of World Cup T20 fever and the festive season, the viewership has been significantly improved.
Kapoor and Sons collections were better than of Neerja. Neerja collections during second week were only 75 crore rupees whereas K&S had already crossed 100 crores benchmark and growing up at a decent pace.
