Hero 2nd day collection 1st Saturday Box Office Report: The latest production venture of Salman Khan released yesterday with a kind of mixed reviews. The film stars Sooraj Pancholi, the son of Aditya Pancholi, and Athiya Shetty, the daughter of Suniel Shetty in the lead roles.
However, a large proportion of the audiences appreciated the movie. The Bollywood superstar Salman thanked the viewers as the film got good collections on its opening day. It collected around Rs. 6.75 crore.
Hero second day (Saturday) box office collection
This film is the remake of the superhit release of 1983 directed by Subhash Ghai with the same. That one starred Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Seshadri in the lead roles.
Its storyline revolves around a mobster who initially kidnaps the daughter of an IG of Police. Eventually, they both start liking each other and then falls in love. It tells how they both come together in the end of the story.
Salman Khan has lent his voice for the title track of the film – Main Hoon Hero Tera, which went viral and highly liked by the fans.

On the first day, it received occupancy of about 30-35% on an average. However, being a working day, it is reasonable.
The famous trade analyst Taran Adarsh (bollywoodhungama.com) tweeted about the Hero collections on day 1.

Now, let’s move on the day 2 of Hero (1st weekend).
Being a holiday for a small proportion of the society, the film started on a little bit high note. As a result, the occupancy increased to an average of about 40%.
Tomorrow is a Sunday, so the occupancy is expected to increase a bit more which will result into even higher occupancy and thus collections. Late night show may go very well.
