Dilwale 15th Day Collection 15 Days Dilwale 3rd Friday Box Office Business and Occupancy ReportKing Khan Shahrukh Khan has been quite busy with multiple films and his last movie Happy New Year received mixed response all over. Despite lack of content, the movie collected huge money at the box-office. Shahrukh has been playing safe in the recent years and he prefers commercial films rather in experiments and periodic dramas. (see: Bajirao Mastani collections.)

Shahrukh has signed two movies Rates and Fan which are undershoot. But before this, Rohit Shetty narrated a script to Sharukh which impressed him completely. Shahrukh immediately allotted his bulk dates for the movie which is said to be a romantic entertainer. Rohit Shetty teamed up with Shahrukh earlier for Chennai Express which emerged as the biggest hit in his career.

Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone played the lead roles in the movie and Pritam composed the music. Deepika has been seen talking in South Indian accent throughout the film which impressed the audience hilariously. Shahrukh Khan produced Chennai Express on Red Chillies Entertainments banner.

Shahrukh and Rohit Shetty came up with the film which has been shot exclusively in Bulgaria, USA, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Rohit Shetty impressed Kajol for the female lead and their pair on screen has been stupendous. The theatrical trailer and the songs of the film received the wide response from the audience and raised the expectations on the film.

The movie has been made on a budget of Rs 120 crores and Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon played the other important roles. Shahrukh has been quite confident on the film and he produced the movie on Red Chillies Entertainments banner. The movie released all over the world in 4500 screens on December 18th.

Dilwale collected Rs 65.09 crores in its opening weekend and the first day alone the film collected Rs 21 crores. Surprisingly the movie received a mixed response from the audience and the film dipped badly during the weekdays and on the fourth day, the film dropped badly by 52%. Dilwale collected Rs 123.88 crores in 10 days of its theatrical run and the film collected Rs 141.55 crores in fifteen days.

  1. Absolutely shit film. Waste of money, time and expectations. The audience has been cheated. kajol looked like a pile on, Shahrukh was his own caricature. The plot was weak and I don’t think there is any redeeming factor to salvage this horrid film. Huge disappointment
