It is scheduled to take place in India and going to start tomorrow onwards with the qualifiers. Twenty20 took birth in India itself and then sold to masses who took it with both hand. The fast paced nature of the game made boundaries shorter and shorter and gave name, fame, and money to unknown heroes. The Indian team who recently won the Asia Cup 2016 are once again the fan favorites in this competition. As usual, this season will also start with the qualifiers. After that the main draw will take place. The previous edition took place in Bangladesh.

T20 World Cup 2016 Schedule

This season, a total number of 8 teams will fight for the title. In the qualifiers stage, there is a huge possibility that Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will proceed to the main draw. This is a very certain situation. Zim should watch out for all the situations as it missed the place last time.

There are some underdogs in this tournament. Oman will be a part of such a big tournament for the very first time. Netherlands had a memorable time in the last edition. And Ireland has always threatened even the big teams. The most of the people look forward tor the main draw only.

India is placed with arch-rivals Pakistan, Australia, and New Zealand. So, it is going to be a tough time for the men in blue. However, the situation was almost same last time too and India won all the matches to reach the final. [mashshare]

T20 World Cup 2016 Schedule

The sixth edition of T20 WC will present a lot of quality teams with a huge number of good strengths good enough to bring the fans to the edges of their seats. It will surely excite them to the fullest. West Indies is also a very good team to watch out for. Although there are enough players due to which the tournament will make shine, but it has lost some of its lustre as many of the star players opted out already.

The champions of the 50-over weren’t able to set the stage on fire in the last season. They managed to reach the finals only once in 2010. South Africa (RSA) has some of the best players in the world. AB de Villiers will fetch the most eyeballs for South Africa.

T20 World Cup 2016 Schedule

However, New Zealand will suffer a huge loss as its star player Brendon McCullum will not play this time. Sri Lanka, the defending champion is working on its perfect squad. Pakistan still are unpredictable. All in all, it will be an exciting tournament.
