TOT vs ASR Preview
Tottenham fans are currently watching as other Premier league teams are going on a spending spree and buying several players to strengthen their squads. On the other hand, Tottenham hasn’t purchased a single player this transfer window yet. They played their previous game in the cup against PSG and won the game by 4-2.
The game started off good for the French side as Edinson Cavani scored in the sixth minute to give the lead to his side but Eriksen and Dyer scored to snatch the lead from PSG. After that Pastore equalized in the 36th minute but late goals from Alderwiereld and Harry Kane ensured a 2-4 win for Tottenham.
AS Roma had to say goodbye to some of their best players in the squad as Mohamed Salah was sold to Liverpool and Antonio Rudiger was sold to Chelsea. They have bought some young talent as 22-year old Rick Karsdorp has been bought from Feyenoord and 20-year old Under has been bought from Besaksehir.
They have also bought Lorenzo Pellegrini, the 21year old from Sassuolo. They played their previous game against PSG and lost the game on penalties after 1-1 in normal time. Umar Siddiq equalized for Roma as Marquinhos scored in the 36th minute.
