Kentucky Derby 2017 Odds
In 2016, Nyquist easily became the favorite after his outstanding performances and eventually, won the trophy and bagged the 2016 Kentucky winner title along with trophy and prize money (purse). As of now, the Classic Empire and Always Dreaming are the early betting favorites. They have the capability of winning the G1 series race on May 6, 2017, Saturday.
However, several horse injuries and lack of pattern in early races’ winners has made 2017 Derby predictions more of a guessing game. Even trainer Dale Romans said that it could be any horse in this race. As of today, May 4, Classic Empire is one of the favorites who opened at 4-1 from post position 14 but ended up back to 6-1.
