Zero, the latest Bollywood movie starring Shahrukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, and Katrina Kaif has reached its 4th day at the box office. Let’s see how much it has earned today and in the first 3 days over the first weekend. Zero’s ticket sale has been nearly the same, not exceeding much compared to the opening day. (check: kgf fourth day collection.)
SRK’s new film Zero has collected Rs 60 crores so far (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) as reported by Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh. As per the business done by the Anand Rai directorial, the movie has not performed up to the expectations. It also failed to grow on the first weekend which is generally observed as the box office trend.
Now, it’s being expected that the holiday season should work and give the film some big numbers. Let’s see if the Christmas holiday (on Tuesday) boost its sales figure or not. The real test will be on Wednesday and Thursday. It has raked in Rs 20.14 cr, Rs. 18.22 cr, Rs. 20.71 cr on Friday, Saturday, Sunday respectively. This sums up to be Rs. 59.07 crores (domestic collection).
As per Taran, Zero struggled as far as its BO performance was concerned on 2nd day (Saturday). The ticket sale didn’t a good growth. So, it’s kinda struggling at making money. As far as Zero reviews are concerned, then it got mixed reviews from both the critics and the audiences.
They didn’t appreciated the story but seemed satisfied with the star performances. The story revolves around a dwarf (Bauua Singh) played by SRK who is on quest to find his love/life partner. First, he falls in love with specially-abled scientist Aafia (Anushka). Then, he move to try his love story with a superstar Babita (Katrina). It turns into a love-triangle.
Zero Day 4 Occupancy in Theaters
- Morning Shows: 10%-15%
- Afternoon Shows: 20%-25% (expected)
- Evening Shows: 26%-30% (expected)
- Night Shows: 25%-30% (expected)
As per the trend, Zero will see a decline on its 1st Monday in terms of both occupancy as well as the collection figure. It’s because today is a regular working day, Monday. However, we can see a good growth tomorrow, Tuesday which is a Christmas holiday.
Zero 4th day collection – Rs 8.5 crores (early estimates)
Zero box office collections – Rs. 67 crores (to be updated)
Worldwide – Rs 105 cr (Gross)
Overseas – $4.75 million
Being made on a huge budget, Zero needs to mint a huge sum of money in order to be called a hit film. If the movie doesn’t gain much momentum on Tuesday, then it may turn out to be a game over for it.
Yash starrer KGF is giving it a good competition. Stay tuned to us for Zero 4th day collection report.
