AMC started showing different teaser images on social media channels and one of such image dropped a big spoiler about upcoming changes in the current season. This could be the thing fans were not expecting. The caption draws everyone’s attention. It is something to be taken care of.

The latest teaser image comes with a caption related to being gracious, and there is only one character on whom the news fits well. Last week, major entertainment news website, Entertainment Weekly got a change for exclusive on a new promotional image for The Walking Dead’s eighth installment.
The promotional image found on a billboard in NYC, the teaser image could be understood more than being only an image after noticing the caption with the image on the billboard and it dropped a major TWD Spoiler.
The caption and poster only fit a character which it might be coming from and the guy is Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln). As we already know that Rick is going to face a tough decision of either executing Negan or let him live.
Negan execution will definitely buy some good TRP for the show but it also shorts out an important character at same time. Negan past is quite enough to be assumed as a reason for killing him but Rick is quite generous in the show, mercy could work for saving his life in the following episodes.

Guessing from the revealed image, Negan seems to have granted the mercy. However, it will be interesting to see if Rick’s taste for mercy outweighs his vengeance for killing Negan. With his luck, Negan has always eluded Rick’s army. But, it seems that he has run out of his luck. If it happens, Negan will be left with no choice other than begging for mercy.
