Sanju 11th Day Collection
The second weekdays will decide the future of the movie. It will give us an idea of how much it will be able to collect in its lifetime. Ranbir’s film has earned over 60 crores over the second weekend. So, it’s pretty much clear that it is no mood of stopping as of now.
Besides collecting 200 crores in the first week, Sanju was successful in retaining the screens in the second week too. Starting with around 3900 screens, it is still running on 3600 screens. That’s a negligible loss of around 300 screens.
The film fell down by 20% on its second Friday, but there was a good growth of over 50% on the second Saturday (9th day). The growth enabled the film to bounce back into the business again. Then, it increased by 30% again on Sunday (yesterday).
First Week – ₹202.51 crores
Second Weekend (including 2nd Friday) – Rs. 63.78 cr
Total – Rs. 266.29 crores
The flick seems to follow the same trend as of the last one. The film will drop today, to a new lower level. It is being expected it will earn at least Rs 10 cr at the box office. The Sanju 2nd Monday collection will decide the fate of its second-week earnings and the lifetime collection too.
Sanju 11th Day Collection – Rs. 10 cr
Sanju 11 Days Box Office Collection – Rs. 277 cr
Sanju Total Collection – Rs. 277 crores (domestic) + Rs. 106 cr (overseas) = Rs. 383 cr (worldwide)
It will cross the mark of 300 cr this week only. Sanju has reached #8 in the list of highest grosser of all time. It is going to beat the lifetime collections of PK and Tiger Zinda Hai, then it may target Dangal. But, surpassing Baahubali 2 is out of the question.
