Along with Mahesh Babu’s Srimanthudu and Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN, Kabali fifth day collections had also broken the record of being the biggest hit of superstar Rajini. Famous for his unbelievable stunt scenes and typical style in the film, it rocked almost every screen throughout the country. Check out how much did the talkie had taken the movie so far on the BO. Kabali 5th Day Collection
The movie released on last Friday smashed record of any other Bollywood film on the releasing day itself. The film had approximately earned more than 48 crore rupees on the opening day.
Its opening collection had beaten the record of SRK’s Happy New Year, which was earlier standing at #1 position with 44 crore rupees earnings on the day 1. Occupancy remained almost full in every other theater throughout the country. Kabaali had earned a big amount as its 5 days collection
After analyzing the trade estimates closely. It’s seen that the film had actually outperformed Irrfan Khan’s Madaari. Being competing for a Hindi film with close face off against each other on the BOC, was never an easy task for any South Indian movies. Despite getting a release in mere 1000 screens in northern India. Hindi version had worked very well in the BO as well.
Minting around 22.85 crores from North India market during the span of last four days was much greater than of any other Bollywood film during the last weekend. Although Rajini’s film had made complications for Madaari, it also had disturbed the online pace with Sultan’s flagship response.
The other two primary markets were of Hindi and Malay. Malay is not usually a popular market but for the talkie, it proved to be the one. The film received an enormous response from the critics worldwide.
During three days, the film had crossed lifetime collections of all South Indian films leaving Bahubali and Robots on one side. Distributed by Cine Galaxy in the USA, the film has minted out $4,100,000 (27 Crore inr) in 4 days just from the 240 screens. The screening was very much targeted and specific in overseas.
UAE and other Gulf countries never proved themselves weak in the case of Bollywood films. Just like any other Bollywood film, The film was also welcomed with utmost respect and gratitude. The film earned massive 15.1 crores from a single country, which is more than impressive for Rajinikanth’s movie.
The overall overseas market was good, but nothing was good as USA’s BO. The movie collections took a boom in the United States of America. The film dismantled all the previous records of any Bollywood or Hollywood talkie. Accumulated Gross Earnings reached the mark of $4,100,000 in 4 days.
Another film chasing the flick on the BO remains Sultan of Salman Khan.

BTW, how much do you think it will earn in its lifetime career?
Movie is not worthy for the collection like this. Marketing techniques boost the collection.
Note the real dip in the box office every day.
This could be your version of opinion on the movie. I liked it and there are lot more who like the movie….so we cannot say that movie is not worthy of collection.
can the producer add the pre-release amount (Rs. 220 crore in case of Kabali) with regard to satellite/distribution (domestic&overseas)/music rights alongwith the box office collections across the globe? As I am an ardent fan of rajinikanth, I would like to get an answer from u in this regard. And, moreover, please note that the malay (in malaysia) version is releasing tomorrow & japanese/mandarin(in china) & thai (thailand) versions would be released shortly. When this happens, I feel the total box office collections across the globe may even reach Rs. 1000 crore in case of Kabali.
I feel that the real Super star ” Rajnikant ” movie “KABALI ” box office collection goes to 1000 crore rupees
