Fitoor 22nd Day (22 Days) Collection: 4th Friday Box Office Report: Talented actress Katrina Kaif has become one of the crowd pulling actresses in Bollywood. Though she has been slammed by the critics during her initial days for her poor performance, she improved a lot and is now one of the most wanted actresses in Bollywood. (see: Sanam Re collection.)
Katrina has been in a relation with Salman Khan for some time after which she broke up with him. She was in love with young superstar Ranbir Kapoor for over 5 years out of which the duo stayed in a posh locality together for a year. The couple recently broke up as Katrina insisted to marry. Ranbir who was interested in marrying the actress said that its time to call off their relation.

fitoorTalented director Abhishek Kapoor scored back to back hits like Rock On and Kai Po Che and these breezy entertainers minted huge money across the world. He has taken huge gap between his films and to prevent this he decided to wrap up his next in a short gap. He worked on the script of the film and he locked Charles Dicken’s novel Great Expectations.
Fitoor 22 Days Collections: 45 Crore rupees Approx.
The movie is said to be an eternal love story and many leading production houses rejected the plan of transforming the novel into a film. Then came Siddarth Roy Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapoor who believed the skills of Abhishek Kapoor. The movie has been titled as Fitoor.
Fitoor has been shot exclusively in Kashmir along with Mumbai and Aditya Roy Kapoor, Katrina Kaif played the lead roles. Tabu surprised everyone as Begum in the film and the movie has been made on a budget of Rs 70 crores. Siddarth Roy Kapoor and Abhishek Kapoor produced the movie on UTV Motion Pictures banner.
The theatrical trailer caught everyon’s attention and the makers released the film on February 12th during the Valentine’s Day weekend. Amit Trivedi composed the music and Hitesh Sonik composed the background score for the film. The audio of the film was a smashing hit.

The movie collected Rs 20.85 crores in 11 days of its box-office run and with Sonam Kapoor’s Neerja which released this week getting wide response, the collections even dropped further. Trade analysts revealed that Fitoor is the biggest debacle in the recent times in Bollywood after Ranbir Kapoor’s Bombay Velvet which released last year.
