Unprecedented changes have been observed in Fitoor Collections where the comeback movie of Katrina Kaif would not be able to screen with the expected potential. The movie is expected to run for over the period of 2 weeks but what has happened is really disastrous. The audience has left the film with its pain and the occupancy during the last week dropped to as low as 5% in most of the theaters, resulting no further screening of the film.

On its first week, Fitoor Collections were below average for a movie starring Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina together in the lead roles. However, many reviewers have praised the acting of both the casts. A possible fact behind this underperformance is anticipated to the reason behind the story of the film. Almost everyone has claimed that Fitoor is nothing but just another love story.

Overall the movie’s great business shrink after the end of first weekend itself. During the first weekend, Fitoor minted out nearly 13 crore rupees and that was the highest end of the movie. It could be said that defining politics with the movie’s basic story was something which proved a wrong step for the director. Somehow the international market has saved it by giving a whopping sum of 12 crore rupees, otherwise, it barely will be able to get the production cost.

The total collections from box-office were around 17 crore rupees over the period of 8 days, however on the 2nd Friday, the film was spotted getting out from the theaters and it has collected nearly 70 lakh rupees on Friday. By the end of this weekend, Fitoor is expected to go from all the cinema halls in India because of release of a movie like Neerja.

Totalling the earnings of Box Office and International Market, Fitoor Collected around 29 crore rupees during a span of 8 days which is very low for a movie released today. Even the past experience of Katrina Kaif has shown her better box office earnings. The occupancy remains nearly 5-20% in most of the metropolitan cities and villages during 2nd Friday.
