Breaking all the box office records of Akshay Kumar, Airlift has done a great business of around 8 crore rupees on its 3rd weekend during the Sunday and Monday also. (see: Mastizaade collection.)
Airlift collection was observed as one of the most trendings Bollywood movie earning report beating out the new releases for around 3 weeks on reoccurrence basis. After earning huge on Republic Day, Film is targeting to join the club of 200 crore collection movies, by this Airlift would be the first movie of 2016 to cross 200 Crore worldwide box office collection.

Although Akshay Kumar doesn’t have die-hard fan following like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, still the movie touching the hearts of citizens is doing a great business in itself. Ghayal once again of Sunny Deol was probably deemed to give a tough competition for the film but it failed to do so.
This time, one of the observable facts is that the movie is also doing a great business in North East and the South of India. Akshay Kumar good relations with Rajnikant is resulting out all positive for the movie and he could emerge as a leading Bollywood actor in the South India.
